For my birth day in Saint George...
We made 56 home-made empanadas that were twice as big as regular empanadas. And as you can see from this picture, Amberly even made the dough which I helped knead.
I thought there was no way only 10 adults and a few kids could ever finish that many empanadas. Oh... was I wrong! Those were the best empanadas I've ever had!
Amberly got me a Cold Stone frozen cake I'm still dreaming about...
Thank you Clarksons for having us over! We love hanging out with you!

The Dynamic Trio
Match the following statements with a child from this picture:
a. The handsome Argentine cousin
b. The perfectly behaved cousin
c. The dynamo, fun-must-be-attained-at-any-price cousin
Christiana Bell, Sophie, and Nico were born just a few months apart from each other and love hanging out. It's so fun to see their little personalities show from so early on. Sophie is my twin niece--she was born on my birthday :) Rafa

Beautiful Utah Mountains
This picture was taken 25 minutes from home. Many people drive longer to get to work than we do to get here.
Robert Redford fell in love with these mountains while filming the movie Jeremiah Johnson. His property is just a few minutes up this very road, and is where he hosts the famous Sundance Film Festival every year. My dad actually bumped into him at a store a couple of years ago. I haven't met him personally yet, but I have ran into Kenny Rogers-the legendary country singer and one of Redford's friends-not far from here while he was riding his motorcycle.

The Pool
Leo, not yet allowed to swim, just sits patiently in his carseat.
Nico is not even a year and a half and is already self-conscious about his belly.
A. Ok mom, enough pictures.
B. Striking resemblance to Verdasco--the up-and-coming Spanish tennis player. Notice the similarity in muscle definition of both Nico and Verdasco.

Cross Country Trip... Good, bad and the Ugly
So in order to complete our move, Rafa and I had to drive both of our cars across the country. We found one way tickets for $100 each-- can't beat that! So the Saturday after Christmas, Rafa, Leo, and I all flew to VA.
The cars halfway through the trip
Thanks to my sister-in-law Laura, I had the perfect coat for the trip!
The trip was going well until we hit Nebraska, this is just a taste of the many accidents we saw, one of which we narrowly avoided.
