We met Ava's parents, Andy and Katia, at Nico's birthing class. They were born on the same day and have been great friends ever since.

The famous Burton Kids posed with Nico during Thanksgiving day. Anne, James and I explored a trail near our house and found many cool rocks and Autumn leaves. James won the "Most Classic Line" award when after lifting a big rock he said: "Finally I can lift big rocks!" as if he had waited for that moment his whole life!

Look who came to visit!

Little cousin Lauren came to town from Boston to be blessed. It was a lot of fun to see her and Nico together. It was crazy for us to think that it's only been three and 1/2 months since they saw each other in heaven! They are quite the pair... she is just three weeks older than Nico.

Amberly did such a great job with Nico's Gaucho costume. Thank you so much uncle David and aunt Laura for the great "poncho". He was a great Halloween hit.

Amberly and I are in our ward's Activities Committee. This was our Trunk or Treating activity. Isn't Amberly's costume so good? She was the cutest cow girl in that whole parking lot.

While Quincy and Sydney cared for his every need, Anson showed him how to be a true boy. In one such demonstration, Anson slipped away from all adult supervision and found my toothbrush. But he is so cute!

Nico and Sophia play together very well, they each took turns crying. But finally with bottles in their mouths they had to stop.

Nico just loves bathtime. He could play in the tub for hours.

On of the most enjoyable places for Nico is his swing. He just can't keep his eyes open.

Haircut number 3 and not even 5 weeks old!!!

Nico's hair is growing like a weed. For a 3rd haircut, he certainly knows how to fill a bathtub! And as you can tell, we did not even cut the top, just the sides.

Nico loves the morning!

This little star woke up this morning happy as can be. We chatted for a while, Nico now has a lot to say. I happened to catch this smile.

Nico is getting HUGE! He is in the 90th percentile for length and 75th for weight. This kid is having no problems packing on the pounds! Oh, and if by chance you missed it, this kid has some pretty amazing highlights going on!

National Air and Space Museum

Our friends Libby and Brandon drove down to DC and we all met at the Air and Space Museum. Nico spent a lot of time learning all about flight from the Wright brothers

Does this suit look OK?

On Sunday the 9th of September, Nico got his name and blessing. It is a beautiful day in every way. Here is Nico in his white suit, courtesy of Grandma Taylor. And here is a small part of our friends that came to support us on this special day.

A little history nut already, Nico loved everything! And of course we had to top the day off with Don Pablos, YUMMY. Rafa is now addicted to their virgin pina coladas!

The two Hazembuller aunts flew in to see Nico. On their first full day, Nico was able to go up the Washington Monument. Then we eat at El Patio, now Cristina's favorite Argentine restauarant in the US.

By day 5... not much improvement.

The first 5 days of Nico's life were pretty traumatic, he had to get blood drawn constantly to make sure he was not getting too Jaundice. Finally by day 5 we were told he was in the clear. Here we are on our way to yet another doctor visit.
