What is it about North Carolina?

For our anniversary Amberly planned a trip to North Carolina. We wanted to see what it is that everyone likes so much about NC. It isn't the great weather, or the great trees, or the magestic Bank of Amberica tower. It's the Burtons!
Their oldest, Anne, is not only beautiful but she can also read very hard wards like "protein" and "calories" from the cereal box. James is an incredible baseball player. And Spencer spends all day smiling, making everyone's day. If the Burton kids are ever missing come look for them in Virginia :)

Graduation Day

Don't say I never did noth'n for you to get your degree. I held your cap for most the day that day!

Amberly's Graduation

Amberly graduated with her Masters in Economics from American University this year. Diane Rehm, from NPR news, was the keynote speaker. You can't really tell but she was quite pregnant then. Doesn't she just look dazzling?

1st Anniversary

For our anniversary I set up a photo shoot with our favorite photographer--who also did our wedding--at some of the DC monuments.
